How to get a $15 drone on Amazon Prime Day

Amazon is holding its second annual Prime Day today, which means more than 100,000 across nearly all of its categories, including TVs, toys, clothing and of course, drones.

And one of those deals could land you with a $15 drone — if you order via voice command from Alexa.

Users who have the Amazon Alexa App, the voice service which powers Amazon Echo, can get a drone for $15 if they say, “Alexa, order a drone.”

Sadly, that won’t land you with a DJI Phantom, Autel X Star or Yuneec Typhoon.

But, it will get you 38% off this Dromida Kodo UAV QuadCopter, which formerly was $25.

While I haven’t personally reviewed it, it does have a camera and at $15, it’s bound to be a fun party trick.

It’s going to be huge. Last year, 398 items were ordered per second worldwide.

Then again, look around. There are tons of other non-drone deals, but that will help you with your droning. My phone battery always seems to die (both while flying drones and playing Pokemon Go), so I’m going to be picking up this 75% off external battery charger.
