Full review of the QuadGuard Kit (oooh and a CONTEST!) is coming Sunday.

One piece of the collection is the QuadKit ($99.95), which I’ll be reviewing on Sunday. It’s a 2-in-1 case, which means it’s two bags that zip together to make one, or can be split apart easily to two smaller cases. The Lowepro QuadGuard Kit case is designed for FPV racing drones can can fit one FPV 250 class racing drone or quadcopter plus parts and accessories, including a transmitter, spare blades, goggles, batteries, charger, manual, etc.

The bags were designed out of necessity by Lowepro designers Luis Quehl and Ian Hughes, who fly drones themselves almost daily.

“They noticed that the FPV backpacks on the market often fell apart after just a few uses, and cases only let pilots use approximately 60 percent of the internal space with very little flexibility for kit changes. To address these issues with quality, organization and protection, they created the company’s first collection of bags and cases for drone racers and FPV flight enthusiasts,” according to a news release.

The drone case is lightweight and comes with interior dividers that can be adjusted to fit different types of drones.

Lowepro in 2015 released a compact drone case designed for camera drones such as the DJI and Parrot Bebop line of drones. Check out my review of he Lowepro DroneGuard case series here. Those cases are constructed of tough 600 denier polyester and use what the company refers to as “Lowepro’s FormShell technology for superior impact protection without added bulk or weight.”

Stay tuned for a full review (including video AND a contest!) coming this Sunday.
