Anyone heading to the InterDrone conference at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas tomorrow?
I’ll be there, at one of my favorite drone events of the year. While the odds are highest you’ll find me at Shake Shack, you can also find me at the following places:
“Dronalism” is More Than Pretty Photos: This is an updated version of the same class I taught last year. We’ll discuss how journalists can use drones, what gear you need, special laws or ethical concerns you need to be aware of, and the legal status for journalists using drones.
This class will take place Thursday, September 8 from 2-2:45 p.m.
Dronalism: Charting the Course for Newsgathering with Drones: This is a panel discussion that I’m excited to be on alongside Daniel Terdiman, Ryan Cowell, Ron Futrell and Maria Stefanopoulos. I interviewed Maria earlier this year about her experience flying drones with ABC News and Good Morning America, including over a volcano in Iceland and through a cave in Vietnam.
This panel will take place Friday, September 9 from 9-9:45 a.m.
Women in Drones Luncheon: Calling all my lady friends who like free lunch and networking! I’ll be on the panel of the Women in Drones luncheon for the second year in a row.
This luncheon will take place Thursday, September 8 from 12:45-2 p.m.
Come to these events, and make sure you stop by and say hi after! I would love to meet you!
