How to get a free DJI Mavic Pro (for two weeks, at least)

If this isn’t the best deal EVER, then I don’t know what is.

You can now have a DJI Mavic Pro completely free, granted you don’t keep it longer than two weeks.

National Geographic has partnered up with DJI to rent out hundreds of brand new, free DJI Mavic Pro drones.

To get a free DJI Mavic Pro drone, sign up at this link. Applicants will receive a confirmation email within one week of registering.  Then, show that confirmation email at your local DJI store and voila! The Mavic Pro is yours for two weeks. The promotion is happening between now and Oct. 31, 2017.

Note that limited qualities of free Mavics are available, and for insurance purposes, a deposit may be required to rent the drone.

The DJI Mavic Pro is by far, my favorite drone out there to date. It’s everything a perfect drone should be — portable, easy and safe to fly, and takes great video!

  1. Thanks for sharing. I will surely enter. You might also want to suggest or at least mention if you’re in the US to be legal as this is a contest for compensation. You should be FAA certified. Just got my certification and it only took me a week of study. I actually got some tips from your site.

For anyone reading this post, here’s my tip to go on the cheap.

    A. watch videos on aviation weather, aviation charts, and aircraft physics
    B. Find a good prep test. There are many out there for mobile devices. I personally used Googleplay’s UAS107 (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=uas107.openrobotix.labs&hl=en). Which I found out from this site.

    That’s my tip.
