Calling all drone pilots in Tokyo, Japan!
DJI will open its first DJI Area in Tokyo this Saturday. The 5,759-square food arena will go by the name “DJI Arena By JDRONE Tokyo,” and will include a flying arena, retail store and technical support space.
The flying arena will have safety nets and an adjustable circuit for racing and advanced practice.
The arena will be much like DJI’s other arena, which opened in Yongin, South Korea last year. Like the other DJI arena, the Tokyo DJI Arena will be available for individual and group bookings, corporate and event rentals and to host the DJI New Pilot Experience Program.
The Tokyo DJI Arena will be managed and operated by Authorized Dealer Japan Circuit in partnership with DJI Japan.
Once it opens on Oct. 21, the arena will be open on weekdays except Wednesday from 6-9 p.m., and on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Tokyo DJI Arena is located at 3 Chome-30 Hosoda Katsushika-ku, Tōkyō-to 124-0021.
