Amazon Prime Day is happening this Monday — and on deck are some solid Amazon Prime Day drone deals.

For the first time ever, DJI is getting in on the 2018 Amazon Prime Day drone discounts, offering up to $300 off the DJI Spark and DJI Mavic Pro on both Amazon and DJI’s own site.

The sale precedes rumors that DJI will likely launch a new drone in the coming weeks — suggesting the company may be wanting to clear out inventory to make way for new products. Rumors include suggestions of a DJI Mavic 2  drone which could be called the “Enterprise” and likely would allow for interchangeable payloads.

Over in the toy drone department, Amazon Prime Day also has tons of deals. One of the cheapest yet is the Holy Stone quadcopter, which is going for less than $30. It is by no means a spectacular drone, but what do you really expect for $30? Don’t expect any sort of video or stable flight. This drone has just under 10 minutes of flying time and should be viewed as either 1. a fun party trick or 2. a great training device. If you can successfully fly this, then flying something more expensive like a DJI Mavic will be easy.

If you want a budget drone that also shoots video, check out the Tenergy Beetle. At $28, this drone is a steal — and it can offer a live stream of what the drone’s camera is seeing through a smartphone app. This drone also has simplified stabilization technology, making it a bit easier to fly than most toy drones. Of course, don’t expect stellar video quality. You do get what you pay for.

Expect tons more Amazon Prime Day 2018 non-DJI drone deals as well. We’ll be updating this post tomorrow as they come.
