Want to earn some cash for your drone photos? You could win $1,000 by submitting your best pictures to B&H’s drone photo contest. And guess what? I’ll be one of the judges!
Photos will be judged based on criteria including creativity of composition, subject’s “wow” factor, originality and image quality. Other judges besides myself include “Booredatwork” founder Enobong Etteh and OT4 creator Jonathan Casey.
Not a still photographer? There’s another drone video competition happening right now, which I ALSO happen to be judging! A whopping $10,000 in total prizes are up for grabs in the second annual AirVuz video contest. Grand prizes of $3,000 USD will be awarded to both the Video of the Year and FPV Video of the Year, and the People’s Choice winner will receive $1,000 USD. All category winners will take home $500 USD. Other judges will include Tiny Whoop founder Jesse Perkins and Drew Camden of Rotor Riot.
On top of that, AirVuz also runs a recurring “Drone Video of the Week” contest, where five videos are chosen each week by the AirVuz staff. Out of those five, fans have the chance to vote each week between Monday and Wednesday to choose the final winner, which is announced every Friday.
